Hi! I am Dana and I create installations that combine biology, art, and computation. My work uses computational power to generate experiences that are relevant to human senses and perceptions. The work takes an experimental approach by analyzing and prototyping incrementally complex computer/human relationship and observing the sentiments that it causes. The goal of my work is to push the limits between artificial computational machines and their interaction with human actors. I wish to explore how humans shape computational machines and how they in turn shape our perceptions or societal structures. I believe computationally created artworks are not only generative in and of themselves but also lead to a conversation between the work and the observer.
